At HORP, we aren't about bulk production or treating our plants merely as items for sale.  Every plant in our collection is a testament to nature's intricate artistry, each one mirroring an exquisite sculpture crafted by the hands of Mother Nature. Every glance at our plants should unveil a new detail, a fresh perspective – from the curious ways a plant stretches, the vibrant bloom of its flowers. HORP was born from this deep-seated reverence for nature and our desire to share its wonders with you. 💕

 

HORP Shipping and Returns

Shipping Policy: 

  • Delivery Locations - We ship only within Australia and only to VIC, ACT, NSW, QLD, SA only. We are trying our best to get our packs delivered to other states as well. Sign up for the newsletter to find out when.
  • Free Shipping - due to the nature of the product, we are unable to provide free shipping at this time
  • Prep Time - If you buy a pot ready pack we do send you the pack with soil, we let the soil dry out for 2-4 days depending on the weather. If you wish to get your pack sooner, you'll have to let us know by sending us a message through chat. If you were to buy fresh cuttings, we let the cut zone dry out for a while. This helps the plant harden themselves for the trip. If you want your plants sooner, please do let us know. 
  • Express Postage - We recommend you to choose express shipping at the checkout for the good health of your plants during transit. Should you decide to choose standard please note that plants will take about a week to get to your hands.
  • Express Delivery - Within Melbourne region only. Either choose the option at checkout or contact us to make this happen. We'd love to surprise someone too!
  • Cleanups - We grow our succulents outdoors, under the sun. While it's good for business to grow in a greenhouse in perfect conditions, we don't want to surprise you by giving a plant that might not survive the harsh Australian weather when you grow it outdoors. Growing plants outdoors has it's challenges. We try our best to make sure the plants and pots are clean to the eye. We never take the plants out of the pots. It's not healthy for the plants. This way you can take the plant out of the pot by yourself and either plant them on the ground or in a planter of your choice.
  • Packaging - Security of the plants is our main focus and we do not trust the delivery personnel to do their job right. We've had terrible experiences ourselves during COVID lockdowns in 2020 when express post deliveries got delayed by 2 weeks. Therefore, we try to make sure the plants can stay healthy in their packaging for at least 2 weeks now. If you notice any problems, please contact us right away. 
  • Shipping Providers - We use Australia Post for deliveries. Make sure you enter your addresses correct and enter the correct mobile number as well. This will help the delivery person to find your home faster.
  • Security - We use fillers to keep the pots and plants tightly packed in the pots. Again, this is because the packages might get thrown around and we don't want you opening a succulent soup.
  • Liability - We do not hold any responsibility of the delivery after they leave our premises. If something is wrong with packaging or the plants, contact us and we'll try to work out a solution for your problem. 

For Indoor Plants, we only offer Click & Collect and Deliveries within Melbourne region. Depending on the plant size, we might consider shipping them to you as well. Please contact us to discuss.

Returns and Refund Policy:

General Terms

Customers are responsible for inspecting all fresh succulent plants ("live goods") upon arrival. Due to various factors like plant care and environmental conditions, HORP cannot guarantee the plants' viability post-delivery.

Reporting Issues

If you find your products to be defective, damaged, or significantly different from their description, send an email to wave@horp.com.au within 72 hours of delivery. Attach images or videos as supporting evidence.

HORP's Examination

Upon receiving your email, we'll conduct a detailed examination of the concerned live goods. If we confirm the goods were damaged upon delivery or significantly inconsistent with their description, we'll either refund or replace them.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, the item must be in the same condition as received, including its original packaging. Plants that have been planted, wilted, or damaged due to neglect during their time with you won't be accepted for exchange, return, or refund.

Shipping Costs

You'll cover the return shipping cost. Note that shipping costs are non-refundable. For defective items, we'll reimburse your return shipping cost.

Refund Process

We'll notify you via email once we've received and inspected your return. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days.

Lost or Damaged Orders

We do our best to protect your items, but we can't control what happens in transit. For an additional fee, we offer transit insurance to safeguard your purchase.
